It’s so weird for me not to be posting daily. Is it weird for you guys? It’s weird for me.

I started school (senior year) a couple days ago. It’s a ton of work but I expected it.

Latin is super intense.

Had a test on P&P today. My teacher seems incredibly hard to please.
Would rather not think about it.

Today started off not so great but in the end it was considerably awesome.

College is stressful. I’m not even there yet.

This post isn’t late or anything…

I was waiting for something exciting to happen all day and in the end nothing worth noting occurred! You can imagine my dismay.

So, the premiere of Gossip Girl season 2 airs tomorrow night at 8 p.m. EST. If you are under the age of 21 you might as well just watch it. You don’t need to tell anyone.

I’m so close to finishing Pride & Prejudice.
Why isn’t that a sitcom? It could be.
Lydia would totally be that wild sister who is constantly embarrassing everyone around her.
Mary would be this emo-goth person who only finds pleasure when she has locked herself in her room.
Kitty would be almost like an extra, because she has virtually no plot other than being jealous of Lydia.
Elizabeth would be everyone’s favorite character, of course.
Jane would be the second favorite character, and a stand-in mom because their real mom is abusive, but she’s not actually abusive, just an idiot.
Their father would be so overwhelmed by his dysfunctional family that he would just chill in the den all day reading Outside Magazine.

Caution: possible spoilers!?

Then you’d have all the special guest characters: Wickham, the hot guy who, although he seems to be, is not in fact boyfriend material; Mr. Darcy, the brooding, silent type sure to amass a great teenage fangirl following, and various other secondary characters.
Lady Catherine would probably be rewritten as one of the snobby, annoying in-laws.
Miss Bingley would be the mean popular girl who goes to Jane and Elizabeth’s school and is always used to getting what she wants. (Elizabeth would be less popular at school but she’d end up winning the heart of Mr. Darcy even though Miss Bingley already called dibs on it.)

This could be great.

Has anyone seen the movie with Kiera Knightley? What did you think of it?

This song is already pretty popular, in large part because it was featured on last week’s episode of The Hills. I’m fairly sure that it was also in some new car commercial.

Remind me to tell you guys that I won’t be bloggging daily during the school year.
There’s just way too much happening.
Posts will probably be once or twice a week, but they will probably be a lot better! (Don’t quote me on that.) I’ll have a lot more to talk about.

Okay, so this post is going to be quick.
I go back to school in about a week so I really need to knock out Pride & Prejudice once and for all.

I have been really sick lately… I’m not sure what food poisoning feels like, but over the last three days I have been sick twice. It is very possible that if it is not food poisoning it is some sort of food allergy.
Maybe something is just “going around.”

This must be so entertaining to read.

Anyway, I couldn’t let sickness affect my posting schedule, so here’s a video until I feel well enough to go out and do something exciting in my own life:

So I know we are already on rocky terms (see last post)…
but I decided to go ahead and change the header anyway.
Hopefully you view this as a positive change.

I have work today so I’m planning on going to bed but I thought that I might as well post just in case I can’t post tomorrow. (By “tomorrow” I do in fact mean later today at normal hours.)

I’m reading Pride and Prejudice… is it an “&”?
Lemme check.

Oh, it is.
At least on my version.

Alright so I’m reading that. So far it’s alright but I really like English the way it is now, not back when it was “fancy” and to say something simple like you’re leaving it took ten times as many words as it does today, when you can just say “I’m out.”
You know what I mean?

Well, I’m probably just bitter because I can’t understand “super English” and consequently it takes me so much longer to read and comprehend this book.

I will say that I do like it when people spell favorite “favourite” and color “colour” even though it adds an extra letter… I guess I subconsciously think it’s cute? I don’t know.

Nothing else is new… I heard that there was an explosion like a week ago in Toronto.
Okay so that’s not new either…?
Scary though.

Back to something positive:
I had the most AMAZING brownies today.
Brownies plural because I couldn’t stop at just one.
AMAZING.
AMAZING.
AMAZING.
They were from this bakery… and they were frosted… with nuts…
but the nuts weren’t what made it amazing… and in fact I prefer my chocolate straight up chocolate… but nevertheless they were AMAZING.

I don’t want to go into too much detail because then I’ll get hungry and want to go get something but since it’s midnight it’s too risky to make the trek downstairs to the kitchen to get food.
You might think to yourself, hey, I go for midnight snacks all the time, what’s the big deal?
Well, it’s not that I’m not super-stealthy or anything, it’s just that I’m on the third floor (also known as the attic) and I would have to go down the back stairs… which are very squeaky.
It’s not my fault that if you put more than an ounce of pressure on these steps they squeak and give you away!
So basically my inability to make midnight snack runs is not in any way a reflection of my stealth. Which is actually pretty sick I like to think.
