Ideas for what to write about for my main Common Application essay for colleges?  (Yes, I know the deadline is very soon, but I was saving this essay for last because I was waiting for inspiration which has not yet arrived.  If you have a thought, use your communication skillz to convey it to me!  Hint: use the comment section!)

I’m so unfair.

After I posted the Harvard pictures I went back to find the Yale pictures and I realized that by some odd turn of events I hadn’t posted them here. The only explanation I can think of is that perhaps I hadn’t yet started this blog when I visited…
?

The graffiti at the bottom was acutally just in New Haven… but it could have been done by a Yale student… you never know. By the way, if this is a gang sign please tell me so that I can remove it. I’m not a fan of gangs and I just assumed this was done with some random stencil of a creepy guy. I guess I’m just not up on gang symbolism. I’ll try to work on that… but not too much.

Visited Harvard today!
It was pretty fun, and I don’t want to make any enemies but I have to say that I liked it a lot better than Yale.
Not to mention there is a J.P. Licks ice cream shop just across the street!!
(That didn’t affect my opinion or anything…)
J.P. Licks also has a convenient location on Newbury Street in Boston.
So if you happen to be strolling around desperate for icy delights, go there!
Tell them I sent you! Maybe they will give me free ice cream?

So. Harvard.
Are there pictures?
Of course there are pictures:

Harvard dirt.
I thought it was necessary.

Harvard graffiti. Yes.

Ran into some trouble with the law.

I remembered to charge my camera this time! Woo!
However, I somehow managed to get the screen all scratched up… don’t ask me how, I’ve had it for less than two months. What a downer.

As you can see by the last picture, we didn’t guess correctly how long we’d be hanging out around Cambridge. (Mainly because we had no idea there would be a J.P. Licks!!)
We got ticketed because we parked at a two hour parking meter and stayed for something like two and a half hours. So close… but when you’re dealing with the law, “close” just isn’t close enough.

On the bright side: SOYJOY!
I ran out about a week ago and have been feeling oddly less optimistic.
Realizing that lack of SoyJoy was the cause, I had been trying to get to a Target or Whole Foods to stock up, with no luck.
Thankfully I got some today!

I cannot stop raving about these things, but I’ll just say that Berry SoyJoys are just about my favorite snack, second only to chocolate.
If you haven’t had a SoyJoy and aren’t allergic to anything in them… i.e. whole soy, dried fruit, perhaps nuts… then GO OUT AND GET ONE.
Get Berry, they’re the best.
Although I haven’t tried Strawberry, so I guess there is a slight chance they could be the second best.
Doubt it.

I am not sponsored by SoyJoy.
I wish.

I took a road trip to Wesleyan University today, hoping to cross another campus tour off of my list.

However, things did not go as smoothly as I had hoped:

Eventually the downpour did cease, but let’s just say I ended up absorbing a lot more than information on that tour… and by that I mean about 18 ounces of rainwater.

I really hate that squishy sound your feet make when you walk around with wet flip flops.

a few pictures from Brown:
(before my camera bit the dust… why don’t I just charge it?)

I know, I know. It’s like you were there, isn’t it?
